Proposal to simplify the lead to current settlement status

Hello, I would like to propose a simplified lead for Rovanjska reflecting its current status. The removed historical administrative details are not essential for the introduction, and the current text is consistent with similar settlement articles (e.g., Maslenica).

The article is so short, there is hardly a distinction between a WP:lead section and the rest of the text. Your edit had actually removed all of the rest of the text. The idea that the encyclopedia article is made better if we remove recent historical information appropriately sourced to a mainstream newspaper source - is nonsensical.

I did notice that we didn't mention the infobox primary source in the article text, and rephrased the text to include that. Will you stop removing it now? --Joy (talk) 11:39, 3 January 2026 (UTC)
