Pyruvate decarboxylase is performing decarboxylation not Pyruvate dehydrogenase — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2.86.126.209 (talk) 17:27, 20 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

Pyruvate decarboxylase is the enzyme that forms acetaldehyde. There are notes at the top of each of these enzymes' pages that denote the difference, including cross-links. Doctorclark (talk) 01:41, 20 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
