Name of principality

Hi, I have a question why the name of the principality is Peremyshl and not Przemyśl. Maybe Peremyshl is the old name of the city, but it should be noted that the city is not called that and therefore can be confused with another city that does not exist. Although the description says it is Przemyśl, no one calls it that principality. More often it is called principality of Przemyśl (I know because I live near Przemyśl myself) and in addition there is a problem to search for people who want to find something about the beginnings of the city of Przemyśl by the Peremyshl used in the name.
