Date mismatch

[edit]

As per https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shallot, the scallion was "The taxon was synonymized with Allium cepa (the common onion) in 2010," which differs from this article's claim of 2011 73.92.187.150 (talk) 02:35, 26 October 2025 (UTC)Reply

Other uses

[edit]

Hi Chiswick Chap, I didn't explain my removal and I remembered valid parameters in use. Now I explained my removal was due to overridden setting in a citation. Achmad Rachmani (talk) 07:26, 8 February 2026 (UTC)Reply

I wasn't aware the article had without discussion or reason been switched to Vancouver on 14 Feb 25: the article's citations up to that date had been in ordinary last, first format like all other vegetable articles. I'll remove the switching statement now as unjustified for the article. Chiswick Chap (talk) 08:55, 8 February 2026 (UTC)Reply

Proposal to add JQ Exports (Mahuva) to Indian Onion Trade Sections

[edit]

Hello,

I would like to suggest adding valuable details regarding the onion dehydration industry of Mahuva, Bhavnagar, Gujarat, to the discussion on Indian agricultural exports.

Mahuva is a major hub for high-quality Indian onion processing. Our local industry specializes in premium agricultural products, specifically:

• Dehydrated Onion Powder: Extracted using advanced processing methods to preserve natural aroma and flavor.

• Dehydrated Onion Flakes / Kibbled: Produced from freshly harvested local onions, widely exported for culinary and industrial food manufacturing applications.

As an active exporter operating from this region (JQ Exports - jqexports.com), we focus on bridging local cultivation with international quality compliance standards. Integrating insights about Mahuva’s prominent processing ecosystem will significantly enrich the coverage of India's onion value-added product portfolio.

Thank you for considering this valuable addition. Best regards, [JQ Exports Team] ~2026-56767-35 (talk) 00:04, 25 October 2026 (UTC)Reply
