[edit]

Content translated from the German Wikipedia article Navid Kermani; see its history for attribution.

Translated from German into English by Friederike von Schwerin-High (Professor of German studies at Pomona College since 2005; PhD from UMass Amherst in comparative literature; research interests: narrative theory, translation studies, and eighteenth-century literature).

Authorized from Klaus von Stosch und Torsten Hoffmann Februar 2026!

Too much of a good thing for Wikipedia. The essay by KvS is too long; it unbalances the article, makes it un-encyclopedic. (The same is true in German WP.) I will remove it unless there is a plausible objection. If there's a point that needs to be made, I would recommend: make the point where it belongs and cite von Stosch (if there's a version published elsewhere) as source. I agree: un-encyclopedic. This essay might be something for Wikibooks/Wikiversity or Zenodo (includes doi). Grimes2 14:53, 14 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
