Typo in the Breakup of the Carolingian Empire section, in the sentence while Louis the German tried to annexe all of East Francia. change annexe to annex. Npc100 (talk) 11:25, 10 July 2026 (UTC)Reply

Query: Later Roman Empire, or Late Antiquity?

[edit]

Section Middle Ages#Later Roman Empire could be retitled Middle Ages#Late Antiquity.

I suggest this because "Later Roman Empire" seems too focused on parts of Europe then under Roman control, whilst "Late Antiquity" communicates a broader scope of transformation in Europe during the transition from Antiquity to the Middle Ages. Open to feedback. HiddenHistoryPedia (talk) 16:51, 10 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

Women in the Middle Ages.

[edit]

I would love to add further content to this article’s subsection on women in the Middle Ages. I plan on using information from two separate sources: Becoming Visible: Women in European History, and Women Defamed and Women Defended: an Anthology of Medieval Text. I would specifically like to add content about polarities, Galenic tradition,  and Aristelian tradition. I saw that editing this article is protected and that there were issues regarding article restoration, so I wanted to propose my idea in case it would complicate anyone’s editing process. Thanks for asking! The article is right up against size constraints, & was for long at FA status. Is there another article where the material could go? Women in the Middle Ages perhaps? Can you link to a draft? Thanks, Johnbod (talk) 02:27, 16 October 2026 (UTC)Reply
