La 26 septembrie 1859 aici a fost iniţiat faimosul actor român Matei Millo, care a dat şi un spectacol „în beneficiul francmasoneriei"." ("The famous "Star of the Danube" lodge functioned in Bucharest between 1856 and 1861. [...] On 26 September 1859, it initiated into its ranks the famous actor Matei Millo, who once staged a show 'to benefit the Freemasonry'.)
Comment: Possibly not the greatest source, given that the newspaper quoted had some strongly nationalist content, but Costea is a genuinely trained historian who was politically affiliated with a mainstream party, and his matter-of-fact article, including the statement rendered as a quote, seems to be largely based on matter-of-fact research by Dan Berindei.
