Feedback on Missing Content

[edit]

Overall, the article is a generally good description of Key Club International as an organization, and it is a well written piece. However, the article contains promotional content, which may impact the objectivity of the article. The article also relies too much on primary sources, rather than secondary sources, as references.

The article is also missing information completely on the club level of Key Club International, where there ought to be information on what each individual club and division does rather than merely the international and district structure. The names of the districts are also missing. Because of these edits, this article is missing key information. ~~~~ Gardennewsom (talk) 14:49, 8 October 2026 (UTC)Reply

It is better to not include that information at all than to have more promotional, primary-sourced bloat. Also, listing of all the districts seems promotional. Promotional content is not key information. Mikeycdiamond (talk) 20:26, 8 October 2026 (UTC)Reply
Promotional content, by definition, would be content that advertises or promotes in a slanted view the topic of the article. However, merely describing the districts that comprise the organization is basic information on organizational structure that makes sense to include. Furthermore, the article's neglect of information on the club-level slants the article in focusing too much on the district and international makeup rather than focus on the club level as implied by the article's title "Key Club". A more sufficient title in such an instance would be "Key Club International" to then clarify that this article centers on the overall organizational makeup rather than mention of the club. ~2026-54278-96 (talk) 20:54, 8 October 2026 (UTC)Reply
Remember to log in before replying. Wikipedia is a summery of what reliable, secondary sources have to say about a subject, not what the subject has to say about themselves. We don't care what Key Club International wants a club to look like. This article doesn't need more primary-sourced bloat. Mikeycdiamond (talk) 21:18, 8 October 2026 (UTC)Reply
