[edit]Not only is this an objectively problematic BA thesis full of obvious issues (no primary sources, relying exclusively on secondary english sources, and heavily quoting a cult leader of a new religion as an authority of shinto), the source also does not mention any of the information that uses it as a reference. Don't misinterpret source authors personal opinions as facts

Rape

- In ancient texts like the Engishiki (927 CE) and the Kojiki (712 CE), severe anti-social crimes, sexual taboos (like incest), and violence were categorized under Heavenly and Earthly Tsumi, not automatic kegare.
