Hi @Bloomagiliw, thanks for the detailed feedback! I really appreciate you giving me a chance to fix these up.

I’ve gone ahead and cleaned up the Lead (removed the citations and the 'model' claim). I also fixed the Early Life section... you were right, the source didn't mention the middle name or the breadwinner part, so I took those out.

For the Career section, I fixed the timeline so ''Ghosting'' comes before the movie, and clarified the Wilberto/Macmac roles. I also swapped out most of the ''Bandera'' citations for ''Inquirer'', ''Philstar'', and ''PEP'' to make the sourcing more reliable.

Hello! It looks really good now and you're almost there. Thanks again for your hard work. Just a few more things before I pass it:

• The Manila Bulletin source for Ibarra's Picnic role doesn't actually mention Nova Villa or Ces Quesada, so please either remove their names or find another reliable source that mentions them.
• "from a fan account associated with a rival group" - Wording here is vague. Rereading the article, I guess the rival "group" here is JarFyang fans? I would suggest saying "rival love team" instead because Garcia himself is not really positioned as a rival to Ibarra.
• Also, link love team
• Add Ibarra's SRR Evil Origins character name James in the Filmography table.

• IMO, you should follow the birth date format in Ji-young Yoo's article for Ibarra's age. The source here (https://lifestyle.inquirer.net/551144/how-jm-ibarra-fell-in-love-with-acting/) says he was 25 as of October 4, 2025, so use that in the infobox.

Lead section

• Still needs expanding. Suggestion for lengthening this lead section: you can mention the MV appearance, JMFyang love team, the response to his Child No. 82 performance (e.g. I found this Daily Tribune review that gives the film a mixed review but praises Ibarra's performance as "commedable": https://tribune.net.ph/2025/10/10/cinemalaya-reviews-part-2-bloom-where-you-are-planted-and-child-no-82-anak-ni-boy-kana), and his upcoming roles in SRR Evil Origins and Picnic.

Early life and education

• I believe it's permissible to use an ABS-CBN source for his full name (https://www.abs-cbn.com/pbbgen112024/articles-videos/10-things-you-didnt-know-about-jm-ibarra-23581) as it's just one tiny but important bit with no alternatives and his page does have mostly non-primary sources.

• I would recommend swapping out the Metro source for Ibarra's Bench runway debut, as Metro is affiliated with ABS-CBN (Ibarra's agency). Lead section

• The lead section should not have citations.
• When I clicked on the GMA article cited in the opening sentence, it does not state that Ibarra is a model. Remove "model" from the lead section unless you find an actual source for that. (If you do, put it in the body, not the lead section.)
• This lead section is too short. It should summarize the whole body.

Early life and education

• His full name being "John Mark Daniel Ibarra" is not in the source.
• "Before joining the entertainment industry, he was an aviation student with the goal of becoming a pilot, while working various jobs to support his family as their breadwinner." Bolded part is not in the source.
• "Ibarra has publicly discussed his estranged relationship with his father, noting that he channeled these personal experiences into his acting work." In the Philstar interview, he doesn't say he's estranged from his father. He just says the two of them have "struggles." He also said that his "struggles" (unspecified) with his dad inspired his Child No. 82 performance, not his acting work as a whole. Please remember to stick with what is stated in reliable sources. Expanding on info without a reliable source is considered original research, a no-no on this site (especially if you're aiming for GA status).

Career

• The "2024–2025: Reality TV and early work" and "2025–present: Acting breakthrough" sections should be merged.
• Provide an English translation for "Ang Poginsyanong Pilo-ToBe ng Quezon" (I recommend using the Efn note format, as this will be complicated to translate into English.)
• "After the competition, he was paired with fellow housemate Fyang Smith in a 'love team' partnership." Remove "partnership" and mention their portmanteau love team name (JMFyang, which is mentioned in the Manila Bulletin feature).
• "The film was a finalist in the 21st Cinemalaya Philippine Independent Film Festival." Finalist in what category? The source doesn't indicate that it's been nominated for anything, just that the film is screening at the festival.
• The prose about Ghosting season one should come before the Child No. 82 stuff, because Ghosting season one came out in July 2025 (as stated in The Freeman article). You should also mention when these two projects came out (Ghosting season one in July, Child No. 82 in October). Ghosting season two can be mentioned after Child No. 82 like this: "Ibarra portrayed Macmac in Ghosting season two, which premiered in November."
• Note regarding the bit above: I was confused as to why Ibarra is credited as "Macmac" in season two and Girly Pop Diaries even though his character is named Wilberto in season one. The articles actually explain it (Macmac is a photographer who looks like Wilberto, who ends up with Fyang's character after Wilberto crosses over into the afterlife). But you have to explain that change too because other readers will also be confused as to why the same actor portrays different characters in the same TV show.
• Link to Shake, Rattle & Roll Evil Origins + mention that Ibarra's character is called James (sources here: https://www.pep.ph/peptionary/189298/shake-rattle-roll-evil-origins-cast-a738-20251026-lfrm + https://www.pep.ph/peptionary/189862/jm-ibarra-fyang-smith-a5128-20251204-lfrm3) + state when this film is due to be released.

Personal life

• "Ibarra is often associated with his onscreen partner Fyang Smith.[23] While fans have speculated about a romantic relationship, both actors have stated that they are focused on their careers but remain happy when together.[6][24] Ibarra attributed his confidence for his film debut to Smith, while Smith similarly described Ibarra as a positive influence on her professional and personal growth.[25][26] In July 2025, Ibarra defended Smith on social media against misinformation and edited videos.[27]" All unnecessary. Remove. Unless they've confirmed a romantic relationship, it's not worth including in a Wikipedia article.
• "In May 2025, Ibarra received death threats on social media from a fan account associated with a rival group, claiming a hitman had been hired to target him.[28][29] His management agency, Star Magic, condemned the threats and warned of legal action.[30] Talent manager Ogie Diaz publicly urged the agency to file charges.[29]" Remove the Bandera sources. They're tabloid ones and you already have reliable sources for this bit (the Inquirer and PEP articles).

General

• Bandera is used as a source a lot on this article. If you're aiming for GA, using tabloid sources like Bandera is heavily discouraged. Once might be OK, but it's used as a source for six different sentences here.
• None of the sources are archived. They should be via sites like Wayback Machine, Ghost Archive, or Archive Today.
• Non-English words should have a translation like this: Child No. 82: Anak ni Boy Kana (transl. Child No. 82: Boy Kana's Son)

Update: After looking at this article, I think it's a long way from GA status. There are so many unsourced statements and the prose quality is not up to par. I still gave you my thoughts so that you can refine this article. I'll give you a chance to implement these changes and improve this page Acrom12
