Separate article?

[edit]

Do we really need a separate article for one critical edition? This seems more likely to confuse readers as to what's what. Srnec (talk) 20:33, 28 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

I think putting this material at De principis instructione would make the critical edition too prominent. Quoting Querying Questioner (talk) 05:03, 31 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
Only the "Introduction" and "Reception" sections are specific to this edition. Srnec (talk) 11:32, 2 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
The "Summary" section is also specific to this edition. I do not think this material could be included in De principis instructione without cutting much of it. Quoting Querying Questioner (talk) 09:23, 5 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
That's what I meant by "Introduction". I don't see how the "Text and translation" is really edition specific. (As an aside, the article does not define "distinction".) Srnec (talk) 20:31, 5 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
I have defined "distinction" as it relates to De principis instructione. Quoting Querying Questioner (talk) 08:55, 14 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
