The source says the following:

В «Нихаят аль-мубтадиин фи Усулюддин» [15] отмечены рассуждения Ахмада ибн Ханбаля...

— Маевская, Л.Б. and Ага, Х.М., 2024. Ахмад ибн Ханбаль (780–855): особенности и принципы вероучения. Исламоведение, 15(4 (62)), p.59.

This translates as, "The work *Nihayat al-Mubtadi’in fi Usul al-Din* [15] records the views of Ahmad ibn Hanbal..." Hence it is the views of Ahmad that the author, Ibn Hamdan (see footnote) is transmitting. The article should reflect the source. MarjanTheCoralStone (talk) 13:43, 28 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

To me they are one and the same -records/transmits. I avoided using the exact same word as the source as it is a citation, not a quote from the source. In any case, the source clear states that the views are those of Ahmad bin Hanbal's in origin. Whether that is "recorded" or "transmitted" is hardly worth losing sleep over.
