I understand that nothing like this would go immediately into an article anyway. But one reason why it would matter that the Styles account was gone for some period of time is that something similar happened with the account for Jung Kook of BTS. Both accounts seem to be "damaged". - Joshua Clement Broyles ~2026-29454-07 (talk) 10:53, 28 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

Please change "Tremlow" to "Twemlow" in the second sentence of the third paragraph under the "Legacy" section of "Cultural Status" in the article. ("Tremlow" is a mis-spelling - the name of the neighbouring parish, where the viaduct being referred to in the sentence is, is "Twemlow". If you need a reliable source for this, please see the wikipedia article "Twemlow".) Thanks ~2026-37917-95 (talk) 13:45, 2 July 2026 (UTC)Reply

It appears a fan has personally admitted to vandalising the infobox and this article by blocking and removing Kravitz as Styles's partner (see here and here, for posterity if deleted, tweets read: "I run a strict program on this site (I’m the reason Harry isn’t noted as engaged on Wikipedia)" and "Girl I changed it, then someone like you changed it back with the same excuse, and a neutral party agreed that it’s for the best to not put it in the infobox. It’s a COI for PR teams to edit the wiki btw. I changed it bc their relationship has never been confirmed, not Larry."). A further look at the account appears they are part of the Larries group and have altered this due to conspiracy beliefs.
As said fan, this isn’t vandalism and when I first changed the page it also came under scrutiny. It was ultimately decided to leave the page be as is since the reports of Harry Styles and Zoë Kravitz’s relationship have already been mentioned in the section personal life, and since there’s a lack of confirmation.
If it really was such a pressing issue to change the infobox it would’ve been changed when any of those articles mentioned was published. Iz olive (talk) 22:19, 13 October 2026 (UTC)Reply
Styles’ mother and friends as well as Kravitz’s friends have acknowledged the engagement on social media (Anne’s like can be seen here
The Hollywood Reporter had an article where it was mentioned that Anthony Vaccarello is designing Zoe Kravitz’s wedding dress for Styles. You can read that here. The Hollywood Reporter is a trade magazine and one of the most reliable sources in American media.
Further, separate sources confirmed the engagement not just to People Magazine (source) but to Entertainment Tonight (source) and Page Six (source). Each outlet cited their own sources. This is not a case where they echoed each other.
People Magazine has since updated on their wedding planning twice. (Source 1 and source 2).
Next week it’ll be six months since the news of their engagement were first shared. There has been no retraction. Three separate VERY reputable media outlets (THR, People, ET) are confirming it, each with their own separate sources, and there have been acknowledgements on the part of both parties inner circles…
Clearly this fan has an agenda, an agenda she admits to having. In literally any other case of any other celebrity, the box would have been updated to reflect the engagement. Conspiracy theorists determination shouldn’t rule Wikipedia. Star8994 (talk) 23:04, 13 October 2026 (UTC)Reply
I did some more revision on the subject and since my original edit (April 2026) the plausibility of the engagement has increased with new publications. Let me note that those weren't there for my original edit, therefore the edit wasn't done out of vandalism but a lack of confirmation. I don't admit to vandalism. That being said, editing a Wikipedia page should be done in good faith and it's obvious the hasn't engagement has been added to the infobox out of it. It's done with malice and as a consequence of me opening up about the original edit six months ago. That's not the purpose to Wikipedia to be used as a platform for so called stan wars. The information of the engagement is on the page, and if it was really necessary to add it to the infobox it wouldve been done when more information tot released, instead of bad will. Iz olive (talk) 14:06, 14 October 2026 (UTC)Reply
This is utterly ridiculous, as someone determined to remove this from the Infobox because of conspiracy theory beliefs, you have entirely no ground to act as if your edits have been made in WP:Good faith.
My edits have been made as a consequence of your edits, which were obvious done with malice in mind. The original post was made in april, a time where I didn't think of myself as a Larrie/neutral on the subject and purely did it out of lack of confirmation. It's clear your stance on the subject isn't neutral either since an edit out of malice wouldn't have been done so if you were. Iz olive (talk) 14:46, 14 October 2026 (UTC)Reply
Hello! IMO, the sources mentioned above, "we hear", "A source confirms to ET", "A source confirms to PEOPLE that" etc are still on the gossipy side for a WP:BLP. WP:BLPSPS like has no weight here whatsoever. So "reported" is ok-ish in the article body, but not good enough to include in the infobox atm, infoboxes are for simple, obvious facts, and this is not quite there yet. Also, commenters in this thread, WP:VANDALISM has a very specific meaning here, and used outside that meaning it can lead to blocks etc. Also, consider that infoboxes and BLP:s fall under WP:CTOP, and admins can be quicker than usual to apply blocks etc. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 15:07, 14 October 2026 (UTC)Reply
