The entry states: "Around midnight on January 1, 1953, the two crossed the Tennessee state line and arrived in Bristol, Virginia. Carr stopped at a small all-night restaurant and asked for a relief driver from a local taxi company, as he felt exhausted after driving for 20 hours. Driver Don Surface left the restaurant with Carr and Williams. They drove on until they stopped for fuel and coffee at a gas station in Oak Hill, West Virginia, where they realized that Williams had been dead for so long that rigor mortis had already set in."
This is highly misleading as it does not mention the Skyline Drive-In in Hilltop, West Virginia, which is where Williams was last seen alive. Mentioning only Bristol and Oak Hill but not Hilltop is highly confusing and misleading this needs to be clarified. P Reader EO11 (talk) 07:59, 5 January 2026 (UTC)Reply

The Early Life section states that Williams' father, Elonzo Huble "Lon" Williams (1891–1970), served in the American Civil War. The American Civil War ended in 1865, 26 years before Elonzo's stated birth year of 1891. Since the article also states that Elonzo served in World War 1 from 1918 to 1919, perhaps it was Hank Williams' grandfather or great grandfather who served in the American Civil War? ~2026-46578-20 (talk) 04:30, 27 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
