Some elements of Newstand have not been discontinued. There is a Newsstand icon in Google News. Publishers can still login and use the Newsstand platform. I think "partially discontinued" might be better phrasing? Colinmcdermott (talk) 22:43, 29 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

Google Play Newsstand finally died. What to do?

Clicking on the Newsstand link on the infobox, it redirected to Google News. Of course, I should mark it as dead, but what else should one do to the article? Should somebody find the exact time when it died?

Add Discontinued Google services category

Please add to the main Google Play Newsstand article page (not this Talk page). The service was discontinued in 2018 when it merged into Google News, so the main category belongs in this article. Thank you! ~2026-33911-06 (talk) 17:48, 8 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
