Language
[edit]CBFC certified it as silent musical film (See here). There are no dialogues, however each language version has soundtrack in the respective language. Thoughts? @DareshMohan Jayanthkumar123 (talk) 07:26, 31 January 2026 (UTC)
- The original language is silent, so the assumptions is that the original version just has background music and no lyrics when it was released in film festivals. However, similar to Mercury, it is a sound film sans dialogue.
- The CBFC's title is GANDHI TALKS MULTILINGUAL and it is clear from the cast and crew that the predominant language if the film wins an Indian award is Marathi (like how the actual silent film Pushpak was awarded as a Kannada entry) @Jayanthkumar123:. - Apart from the cast and crew, geographical setting is also important here. Mercury is set in Kodai, Pushpaka Vimana in Bengaluru and this film in Mumbai. So, the dominant language of each geographical location is Tamil, Kannada and Marathi respectively. There is a chance for Hindi, but the cast and crew predominantly works in Marathi cinema.
