[edit]after research, I found that Hazard tree inspection is said to be an art form. This seems to be over exaggeration when talking about vegitation. Mcal1531 (talk) 20:10, 21 May 2012 (UTC)mcal1531Mcal1531 (talk) 20:10, 21 May 2012 (UTC)
Confusion of the discipline with its objects of study
[edit]This article hopelessly muddles the discipline of forest pathology (a science) with its objects of study (insects, pathogens). It's like confusing Medicine with Disease, or Botany with Plant: they aren't the same things. The discussion of insects and pathogens should all be removed from here to articles about forest pests and diseases. Chiswick Chap (talk) 12:22, 21 October 2025 (UTC)
