This article seems way too anti-Chavez biased...

Somehow, all the pages for "left-wing" Venezuelan parties manage, very clearly to mention that. There apparently aren't any right-wing parties in Venezuela. That's unusual.

MVR is a populist party,it´s not a bad or a good thing,it depends on your opinion.Luiz

Third Way

[edit]

The infobox lists the Third Way as part of the ideology of the MVR. This seems dubious given that the Third Way is an economically centrist position that is adjacent to neoliberalism, and the MVR is known for being left-wing to far-left, anti-capitalist and anti-neoliberal. Hugo Chávez still supported rheinish capitalism. MarketFruit (talk) 14:15, 13 January 2026 (UTC)Reply
The claim about the Third Way with the source from El País needs to be verified. If it does not specifically say that Hugo Chávez or the MVR supported the Third Way, then I see no reason for the infobox not to say Rhenish capitalism instead of Third Way. There are various more sources on the Chavismo article. MarketFruit (talk) 20:26, 14 January 2026 (UTC)Reply
