This article is well-put together. The images are all relevant. There is a lot of important information in here, all of which is backed by reliable sources that are still relatively recent and credible. The content in the article is accurate and relevant yet somewhat limited. The History section discusses the origins of Environmental studies in several countries. However, some information is slightly misplaced. There is a paragraph in the Education section that discusses the origins of "environment" in education in the UK in the 1960's. This would perhaps be better suited for the History section. Further, Environmental studies has traditionally been a predominantly white area of study. In recent decades, more attention has been directed to the intersectionality of environmental issues and social and racial justice movements, giving rise to Environmental Justice. Furthermore, the article discusses the field of Environmental studies in the U.S., UK, and Canada, but not elsewhere. These are relevant additions for the page about Environmental studies. The tone of the article is neutral, and the writing is objective and concise. The article is well-cited and the citation links work. The article links to both other Wikipedia articles and reliable external sources. The Talk page indicates that two contributors have worked on the article as course assignments. There is one evaluation of the page that describes it as an "excellent article". This demonstrates moderate engagement on the article. The Environmental studies article appears to be neutral and provides relevant information about the topic. The article explains what environmental studies is, its history, and how it’s taught. It also includes several citations from different sources. Most of the information is clear and related to the topic. But the article could be improved by including more information about environmental studies outside of the United States, United Kingdom, and Canada. It could also include more current information about environmental issues and how the field has developed in recent years. Overall, the article provides a good introduction to environmental studies, but more information from different countries and perspectives would make it more complete.Sla Llh (talk) 00:22, 16 September 2026 (UTC)
