I just entered this article to start making links and citations, which I will do in the next several hours. Trust me, this person is notable, known and beloved to generations of Oklahoma residents. He knew everybody in town, and anyone who grew up there in the 50s through 80s met him. His story shows a slice of public life and entertainment that is long gone, the homegrown entertainer. There are plenty of reliable references for him too....I'll add them shortly. Wikidemo 02:08, 28 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

This article is still in need of reliable sources. Narthring (talk • contribs) 18:50, 5 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Mr. Birchall's name was NOT Edward Patrick Birchall. It was Edward Phillips Birchall. He was my father-in-law. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.165.17.150 (talk) 20:09, 13 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

According to the source cited at the end of the article, his funeral was broadcast live by all four network stations in OKC.

I cannot find the source, but I read somewhere that the clowns at his funeral were his pallbearers, and they were all in full costume. Ormewood (talk) 18:53, 7 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
