Change laid to lay, as follows: Within the History section, 20th century Origins, the word "laid" should be changed to "lay" (past tense of the infinitive verb "to lie", rather than the past tense of the infinitive verb "to lay"). The sentence therefore should read as "...though this idea lay dormant for many years." LaurelhurstSam (talk) 22:38, 23 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
