The current version of the article says

It was while doing session work that [Barbarossa] teamed up with former Flowered Up keyboardist Tim Dorney, Andy Todd, guitarist Johnny Male and Nigerian-born lead singer Saffron to form Republica.

However, the current 'Republica' article suggests that he was not a founding member and the band had been around for a couple of years before he joined. (See ).
