To say Daniel Batman "falsely claimed" to be a descendent of John Batman, we need a source that says that, specifically. Otherwise, editing the page to say that violates WP:ORIGINALRESEARCH. The Australian Dictionary of Biography article on John doesn't even mention Daniel, & therefore shouldn't be shoehorned into this article as a source. To make the claim Daniel Batman was a direct descendant of John Batman, categorically, without qualification based on one unreferenced source, especially when that source is inconsistent with well documented histories, biographies and other records of John Batman and his children is inappropriate. You persistently remove any qualification and reference to sources that disprove the POV agenda you push. The Australian Dictionary of Biography doesn’t need to mention Daniel as it clearly identifies John Batman’s children and thereby that your claim about John Batman having a descendant retaining the name Batman is false. This was a lie Daniel Batman told fellow school students and others. The most that can be said based on the source is that “it has been claimed …” Qualify the statement or remove it entirely if you can’t find a better source. ~2026-48478-28 (talk) 02:06, 17 September 2026 (UTC)Reply
