Name
[edit]Is flavan-3-ol correct? Shouldn't it be flaven-3-ol? --Kupirijo 20:33, 27 January 2007 (UTC)
Flavan-3-ol is correct, but cyanidin is an antocianine not a flavan-3-ol -- Jose
- Correct IUPAC flavonoid name is based on ‘flavylium’, added. —Mykhal (talk) 19:29, 11 October 2018 (UTC)

Derivatives
[edit]"cyanidin 3-O" & "cyanidin 7-O" do not make sense. Also "derivatives" seems better than "derivates". 69.72.92.99 (talk) 05:58, 7 August 2014 (UTC)
