I remember there was a layer of thick cheese on top and bottom, after toasting, the sandwich would be 'sealed' shut by the cheese, thus, the sandwich would not open or fall apart, and this was supposed to be an important feature of the 'Cuban Sandwich'. 2603:9001:8C00:254:B80F:8A1E:F429:E491 (talk) 16:23, 19 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
While that sounds like a great idea, I've never had a Cubano made in that fashion, and you'd have to find a reputable source to add it to the article. Zeng8r (talk) 17:42, 21 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
