can someone put this in the category of "airsoft manufacturers"?

Crosman does NOT manufacture airsoft weapons. They rebrand other manufactures such as UTG, Double Eagle, CYMA. They don't even have a factory of their own for airsoft.

Proposed merge of Powerlet into Crosman

I do not see Powerlet as being independently notable from Crosman, paintball doesn't make sense as their canisters aren't all brand names. Thoughts? Star Mississippi 20:43, 22 February 2022 (UTC)

Discontinued Models

I am TRYING to document the discontinued models, but the Lords Of Wikipedia are giving me an awful time. I might be lucky and get the Crosman 150 documented within my lifetime. 2600:1700:6AE5:2510:0:0:0:24 (talk) 00:33, 4 November 2023 (UTC)

There are insufficient scholarly references to airguns in spite of their interest to engineers. There are plenty of references to airguns in scholarly articles related to their hazardous nature:

Just for the sake of providing possible useful info: Rudolf Merz is popularly credited with many of the novel mechanisms that Crosman employed, but reliable references to him are extremely scarce. I decided that it was reasonable and sensible to correct and extend the (non-resolving) links to the various discontinued models using the Crosman repair manual as a guide. I added a reference to the repair manual and changed some (non-resolving) link targets, and added others - All of which agreed with the model numbers as found in the Crosman repair manual... Some random, uninformed Wikipedia editor accused me of changing links to suit my own whims and removed all my editing including the reference to the repair manual! When I challenged them they changed their complaint from "broke links" (I assume they mean the links that did not resolve?) to "lack of edit summaries".
