Kellen McGovern Jones (23 March 2026). "Cesar Chavez Wikipedia Entry – DNA Test Facts vs. Page Claims". The Dallas Express. Retrieved 24 March 2026. The page states that "the paternity of the children was confirmed by the Times with DNA evidence," implying direct confirmation of both Chavez as father and Huerta as mother through testing arranged or conducted by The New York Times.
Not done: What do you want added? There is already an entire section ("Sexual abuse allegations") with a link to a complete article on it. LizardJr8 (talk) 18:41, 15 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
Change description of Chavez to include the term rapist/abuser

Why not get right to the point in the first paragraph, and describe this man fully as he is now known to have been? Why soft peddle his bio description? In an article about Charles Manson they don't leave out the term murderer. Why not describe Chavez as the criminal he was too? ~2026-45561-78 (talk) 22:31, 30 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
Because he's not. There are allegations, not convictions. Remember that one of his accusers, Dolores Huerta, was no saint at all. Chavez cannot defend himself and he is not a criminal in any legal sense. I can't believe you don't see the difference. Fyunck(click) (talk) 23:24, 30 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
If this article were about Donald Trump or any other person on the right politically, Wikipedia would immediately be identifying that person in the initial description as a sexual abuser. Anybody who doubts the Mount Everest of evidence that has accumulated against Chavez is simply a fool. Obviously he will never receive a criminal conviction because he's dead. ~2026-46870-37 (talk) 01:41, 8 October 2026 (UTC)Reply
