Causes of poverty - China subsection

I removed the source https://www.worldbank.org/en/country/china/overview from much of this section with the exception of the first paragraph because I corrected the text to match what the source actually said. This is largely due to WP:Synth. I read through the full article referenced and where it discussed the things mentioned in the section, it did not in any way attribute those as factors causing poverty. I'm concerned about the second source SCMP because I'm not able to verify the information myself. I'm hoping someone else can.
