The text on the article is not a copyright violation. It is indeed taken from the Dictionary of Greek and Roman Biography and Mythology, which is available online (the text is from here. However, that book is published in 1870, which puts it in the public domain. –RHolton≡– 04:47, 30 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Etymology

[edit]

Does that name mean "battle wolf"? Does anybody have an etymological Gaulish dictionary where they could check? Trigaranus (talk) 18:59, 2 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

The Death of Catuvolcus

[edit]

In researching this article, the sources I read were inconsistent on whether or not Catuvolcus committed suicide by hanging himself from a yew tree or poisoning himself with extract from a yew tree. I even checked translations of Caesar's writings and found them inconsistent. Lacking a clear answer, I presented both as possibilities but I would much appreciate it if someone could find something more conclusive. Shotwells (talk) 22:27, 9 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
