| On 14 October 2025, it was proposed that this article be moved from Cancelled! (song) to Cancelled!. The result of the discussion was moved. |
A fact from Cancelled! appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 15 November 2025 (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:
|
Requested move 14 October 2025
[edit]The result of the move request was: moved. Moved, obvious WP:SNOW Original redirect was only created to refer to the song as well. (closed by non-admin page mover) ULPS (talk • contribs) 12:34, 15 October 2025 (UTC)
Cancelled! (song) → Cancelled! – Per WP:SMALLDETAILS. There is no other subject on Wikipedia with a title specifically called "Cancelled!" with the exclamation mark and disambiguation is not needed. The page Cancelled! is a redirect towards this article right now anyways (and previously redirected to the album article The Life of a Showgirl). λ NegativeMP1 23:36, 14 October 2025 (UTC)
- Support; maybe even WP:SNOW to this point. HwyNerd Mike (tokk) 00:03, 15 October 2025 (UTC)
- Support as well. Thanks, 1isall (he/him) (talk | contribs) 00:14, 15 October 2025 (UTC)
- Support per nom. No need for it to reference song when this is the only article with cancelled! as a title. GothicGolem29 (talk) 00:30, 15 October 2025 (UTC)
- Support - could be done per WP:BOLD. My fault for not checking the disambiguation prior to moving from AfC. --CNMall41 (talk) 00:46, 15 October 2025 (UTC)
- I would have done a bold move myself but the redirect already exists and I do not have page mover permissions. λ NegativeMP1 00:56, 15 October 2025 (UTC)
- Understood. Again, sorry for f***ing it all up for everyone and wasting time. Will look closer in the future. --CNMall41 (talk) 01:05, 15 October 2025 (UTC)
- Comment: Should this be closed early? It is pretty obvious that "Cancelled!" is the preferred title, and if so, I'll G6 the current redirect. HwyNerd Mike (tokk) 00:54, 15 October 2025 (UTC)
- I think it's way too early to do that. The RM just started, and the current number of !votes would probably not be enough for this to be considered a WP:SNOW close. We should let it run for a little longer. Thanks, 1isall (he/him) (talk | contribs) 00:57, 15 October 2025 (UTC)
- Alright! If majority votes support by tomorrow UTC, I think it'll be fine to close it. HwyNerd Mike (tokk) 00:59, 15 October 2025 (UTC)
- Remember that these discussions are never mere votes. There's a chance that some people may say "oppose". Thanks, 1isall (he/him) (talk | contribs) 01:48, 15 October 2025 (UTC)
- I know. Probably should've said "consensus is established". HwyNerd Mike (tokk) 02:11, 15 October 2025 (UTC)

- Support per WP:DIFFPUNCT (aka SMALLDETAILS). Mdewman6 (talk) 05:29, 15 October 2025 (UTC)
