Bugisnese, alternative spelling of Buginese

You can see the United Nations use 'Bugisnese' in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (OHCHR). Ivan Humphrey (talk) 08:38, 30 July 2020 (UTC)

Yet, "Bugisnese" is not English, maybe it's Indonesianese. Google scholar gives 148 hits for "Bugisnese", next to 39,200 for "Bugis" and 5,070 for "Buginese". "Bugisnese" was virtually non-existent before 2000, but that was a time before Indonesian academic journals started to publish English-language papers that never went through proficient proofreading, and made carelessly coined neologisms such as "Bugisnese" etc. pass to appear in print. So I don't think "Bugisnese" qualifies as an alternative name to be mentioned in the lead. Unsurprisingly for some, I do feel strongly about this, so I won't revert before hearing comments from other editors, @Juxlos, Masjawad99, Gunkarta, and JarrahTree: your thoughts? –Austronesier (talk) 14:30, 30 July 2020 (UTC)

what an absurd rendition - ( I wouldnt even bother to deal with logarithms from alien cultures,) the simple point is such a term was not being utilised when I was in Indonesia in the mid 1990s. If you have lots of spare time, check the spelling of sukarno and suharto articles and the edit history since the beginning of wikipedia, to realise how even the old and new and spelling can be so time wasting and disruptive, to deal with 'invented' terms hardly qualifies regardless of whether utilisations from left field show up JarrahTree 14:39, 30 July 2020 (UTC)

@Austronesier: Obviously there's no need to include all the supposed "alternative" names. "Bugisnese" is an unnecessary neologism, and it's hardly notable enough to merit inclusion. Masjawad99^💬 15:05, 30 July 2020 (UTC)
