The content of Bossa Nova (dance) was merged into Bossa nova on 2 May 2022. The former page's history now serves to provide attribution for that content in the latter page, and it must not be deleted as long as the latter page exists. For the discussion at that location, see its talk page.

Although it involves legends of the genre, I don't think it's a good choice for an infobox picture. Coming to the article without knowing any context, it looked to my uneducated eye like several avant-garde artists entertaining each other in a hotel room not with their music, but with their wit... it did not speak of 'music' to me at all, but of performance art... I would have guessed they were not musicians, but actors in between takes while filming a Fellini movie. Any generic picture of Rio would be better in my opinion, or one of these... these have the virtue of at least including a musical instrument. Marcus Markup (talk) 21:55, 31 October 2025 (UTC)Reply

Shouldn't the final paragraph in the History section be removed? Neither of these musicians are really a part of the bossa nova tradition (so I'd argue they shouldn't be discussed at all). Also, the writing is not really correct. ~2026-38602-45 (talk) 08:08, 6 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
