Production companies: Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer | Free Association | this is important | Bold Choices

[edit]

Hi HM2021,

You've undone my revision:

   => https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Blink_Twice&diff=1240136943&oldid=1239654542

With the following justification:

   "This is actually not an error but these are the exact companies credited on the poster."

I don't think that something listed on a poster which nobody can see could be used as sufficient ground for reverting somebody's changes, don't you agree? Can you back up your claim that those are indeed companies involved in the production of that film, "this is important" and "Bold Choices"? The former doesn't even sound like a proper company name, more like a joke... And nothing like that is listed for the film on IMDb: => https://www.imdb.com/title/tt14858658/companycredits/?ref_=tt_dt_co..

Hmm, actually I've just taken a look at the listing on The Numbers (website):
=> https://www.the-numbers.com/movie/Blink-Twice-(2024)#tab=summary
Production/Financing Companies: This Is Important, Free Association, Amazon MGM Studios, Bold Choices
Alright, the name is indeed there. Still, it doesn't sound like a proper company name, does it? 🤔
BTW, presumably "this" in that name as listed now in WP:Infobox should be capitalised, don't you think?
Cheerio,

If it's credited on the poster, then it is official companies. Mike Allen 22:20, 13 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

Reviews are unbalanced

[edit]

The film has 75% on Rotten Tomatoes, but the reviews cited in the article are ALL BAD. Someone needs to fix this. ~2026-18190-26 (talk) 18:44, 23 March 2026 (UTC)Reply

Agree — even now, with positive reviews included, there are more words dedicated to extremely negative reviews than mixed or positive ones. It's clear that prior editors carried personal biases over into opinions or the work. The weights placed on the two sides still don't make sense to an unbiased observer relative to the general reception of the film.
I am looking further into whether we should possibly cut down on the description (summary, direct quotes, etc.) of highly negative reviews so the Critical Response section is accurate to the real-world critical response, not based around some random guy's anger toward this movie and its themes.
