Diverse

[edit]

1. What is a "whitlist"? 2. What are "Barracuda Blog Lists"? 3. The behaviour of this company is dubious at least, wildly blocking IPs for unexplained reasons. Especially in Europe where the majority of users has dynamic IPs which are given to them by European providers of a good reputation are blocked already at the very first contact. Research shows even stranger behavior which might be illegal in different Non-U.S. countries under their own jurisdictions.

--- What are you asking/suggesting? When my IP was blocked they fixed it right away and told me why it was blocked. Nothing dubious or illegal about it. You should add your research to the controversies section.

Reorganizing

[edit]

Hi All. My name is Anne and I work for Barracuda Networks. In compliance with WP:COI, I was hoping to get some feedback from an impartial editor on some minor changes and reorganizing of the page. Here are my suggestions:

  1. The current page has a lot of one-sentence paragraphs. Can I remove some of the line breaks to consolidate paragraphs as a non-controversial COI Edit?
  2. The current page has a separate "Acquisitions" section. I was thinking this should be a sub-section under History.
  3. The Lead is just one sentence and I think needs expansion. I'll work on a draft to propose.
  4. In the Leadership sub-section, I think we should delete the sentence starting with "Jenkins worked at EMC" that starts giving the exec's resume and remove the line about an SVP (to focus only on CEOs) and merge the rest (the CEO appointments) into their chronological spot in the history section.
  5. The current page has tags at the top for poor sourcing, etc. Do folks think those have been addressed at this point?

Let me know if all or some of these are ok. AnneKasperCampbell (talk) 17:29, 10 September 2026 (UTC)Reply
