Removed Sentence Added By defunct user:ThoddiB

Defunct user 'ThoddiB' apparently thought it was a 'win' to tack onto the end of a paragraph describing the difficulty of gaining prosecution and convictions for the violence and abuse at Choate because of employee-witnesses' constant lying to investigators, the claim that (paraphrase) 'in 3 years, only 3% of 1500 accusations deemed true'. The source articles do not line-up with that claim.

FIRST: (ThoddiB) uses a benchmark of "deemed true" which is NOT the Standard that these investigations use. The Standard that these investigations use is "Substantiated" or "Not Substantiated". A Finding is based on a "preponderance of the evidence". A standard of "true" or "false" is not any part of this process.

SECOND: The articles linked to this paragraph, detailing the difficulty of gaining convictions - because of employees lying to investigators - give us these parameters: |-- period of 10 years --|-- 1500 complaints --|-- 5% Substantiated --|. As we see, the only common number between (ThoddiB)'s contribution and reality is the 1500 complaints.

THIRD: (ThoddiB)'s only existence whatsoever on Wikipedia was to add this single sentence to this article. It clearly is a feeble attempt to minimize the problems addressed in the Article's paragraph. The Article's paragraph informs us in a glib and dimensionless phrase that, "Choate has been accused of patient abuse and neglect...", but describes no quantities. The paragraph's Author gives the reader three (3) links to dive deeper if so desired. User (ThoddiB)'s single-sentence contribution serves no beneficial purpose here. It incorrectly and falsely misstates the quantitative numbers given in the linked articles.
