Proposed sentence

Hello. I am editing this page with my daughter, who is seven. She thinks we should add this:

The Ancient Romans knew that Egyptian grains made the softest, whitest bread.

Edit Request -- Removing Trajan from the Flavian Dynasty

In the "Flavian dynasty" section of the article, the final sentence reads: "Under Trajan, the Roman Empire reached the peak of its territorial expansion. Rome's dominion now spanned 5.0 million square kilometres (1.9 million square miles)."

This sentence doesn't belong in the Flavian dynasty section, since Trajan was a member of the Nerva-Antonine dynasty, not the Flavian Dynasty. Please either remove the Trajan sentence from the "Flavian dynasty" subsection or move it to the following section on the Nerva–Antonine dynasty.

I suggest that the sentence should be moved after the sentence "Nerva abdicated and died in 98 AD, and was succeeded by the general Trajan" and before the sentence "Trajan is credited with the restoration of traditional privileges and rights of commoner and senatorial classes, which later Roman historians claim to have been eroded during Domitian's autocracy" in subsection "Nerva–Antonine dynasty" in the paragraph corresponding to Trajan. Good catch! I've moved those two sentences but to the end of Trajan's paragraph (and slightly amended); saying "now spanned" before recounting his conquests could be misleading, and the para would then discuss his social restorations, then jump back to conquests. The sentences do sit comfortably at the para end as a statement of the situation at the end of his life, and happily are immediately picked up and contrasted in the opening of the next para, making for a flowing transition.
