Major contradiction

This article states that A.N. Whitehead believed reality consists of processes rather than bits of matter.

But the linked Wikipedia article Process philosophy states:

"Process philosophy (also ontology of becoming or processism) is an approach in philosophy that identifies processes, changes, or shifting relationships as the only real experience of everyday living."

There is an enormous difference between "the only real experience of everyday living" on the one hand, and "reality" on the other hand.

It is too vague and laudatory, which, contrasted by the repeated mentions of his lack of acceptance in most areas of academic philosophy, gives an impression of idolatry. Dubatomic (talk) 04:17, 20 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
