Church reconstruction and consecration dates
[edit]The article states that the church was rebuilt between 1876 and 1883. This follows the Historical Dictionary of Switzerland's entry on Albeuve, but appears to conflate completion of construction with consecration.
The parish's official website, under “Église d'Albeuve”, states that the new church was completed in 1879 and consecrated by Bishop Mermillod on 18 September 1883. The regional park's historical exhibition likewise distinguishes its return to use in 1879 from its consecration in September 1883.
I suggest replacing the reconstruction dates with:
- Following the fire of 1876, the Church of the Assumption was rebuilt by 1879 and consecrated on 18 September 1883.
