Meroglossa gemmata is a species of bee in the family Colletidae and the subfamily Hylaeinae. It is endemic to Australia. It was described in 1975 by Australian entomologist Terry Houston.[1][2]
Distribution and habitat
[edit]The species occurs in northern Australia. The type locality is Horn Islet, in the Sir Edward Pellew Group of Islands, in the Northern Territory.[2]
Behaviour
[edit]The adults are flying mellivores.[2]
