Chukwuemeka Fortune Adiele (born 31 July 2007) is an English professional footballer who plays as a full-back for EFL League One club Burton Albion, on loan from Eredivisie club Utrecht.

Club career

Adiele is a youth product of West Ham United, having joined the club at the age of nine.[2]

In July 2024, he signed his first professional contract with West Ham.[2][3]

In February 2026, Adiele signed for Utrecht in the Eredivisie,[4][5][6] first playing with the reserve in Eerste Divisie,[7] while regularly training with the first team.[8]

Adiele made his professional debut with Jong Utrecht in a 1–1 Eerste Divisie draw with Willem II on 16 February 2026.[9]

On 18 August 2026, Adiele joined League One side Burton Albion on a season-long loan deal.[10]

International career

Born in England, Adiele also has Nigerian origins.[4] He is a youth international for England, having played for the under-17s[3] and under-18s.[4][11]
