Disclosure: personal connection to subject

I am writing this article as someone who knew George Grunblatt personally during the last years of his life (roughly 2003–2008). I want to be transparent about this connection and about the sources used:

• The two recorded telephone interviews cited in this article (with George Grunblatt in 2008, and with his niece Dianne Lambert in 2026) were conducted and recorded by me.
• The YouTube video cited in the "Albrizio mural and Mexico" section ("A Visit to the Union Station" with George Grunblatt, 2015) was posted by me. It shows George describing his own account of working on the Albrizio mural at the Union Passenger Terminal, which is not reflected in any official record I have been able to find.
• The lead image (George Grunblatt with his art cart, c. 1997) was uploaded by me to Wikimedia Commons under CC-BY-SA 4.0.

I have tried to keep the article's content limited to what is verifiable through the Times-Picayune obituary (June 18, 2008) and these recorded primary sources, and to avoid any content that cannot be supported by a citation. I welcome any feedback on whether additional sourcing or framing is needed given this connection.
