Shout Your Abortion

[edit]

I'm tempted to add some background, and criticism of the stigma, by covering the Shout Your Abortion campaign, but I'm leery of seeming biased. Is there a neutral way to add this? https://shoutyourabortion.com/ Mevsherd (talk) 01:29, 24 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

Citation Style

[edit]

Hi. Material from this source is spread out over two sentences:

In a story for the New York Times, a woman from Northern Ireland flying to England for an abortion commented she had no reservations, "But because of the way we have been conditioned culturally and such, I still spent the whole flight feeling dread and even shame."[citation needed] When she sought shelter from domestic violence, the counselor tried to talk her out of getting an abortion.[6]

The source for both the quote and the pro-life advocacy from her counselor is the same. Do I really need to cite it twice, after successive sentences? Mevsherd (talk) 01:43, 24 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

I don't see any connection to many of the Wikipedia projects tagged above

What does the topic of this draft have to do with, for example, amateur radio or alternative music? Phil Bridger (talk) 15:26, 29 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

These two were added to the Abortion and mental health by user: @Mausfield: - Thank you for finding those sources!! [1] [2] ---Avatar317(talk) 22:50, 9 September 2026 (UTC)Reply

Yes, I was going to start working on this draft but A) the llm issues and B) I'm not so sure how this article covers something new that is absent from the various pages like Abortion in the United States, Christian views on abortion, Abortion debate, Abortion and mental health, Misinformation related to abortion, etc. In particular think Stigma might be better off as a section in Abortion and mental health.
