Solo Leveling: Beyond the System is an upcoming animated action horror fantasy film directed by Tao Tajima. It is based on the South Korean web novel by Chugong, and a direct sequel to the second season of the anime television series.
Production
[edit]In July 2026, it was announced at Anime Expo that a Solo Leveling feature film was in development, titled Solo Leveling: Beyond the System, with Tao Tajima set to direct, and it would serve as a continuation after the events of the second season of the television series. It is an international co-production between Japan, South Korea, and the United States, with Crunchyroll, Aniplex, Netmarble, D&C Media, and Kakao Piccoma producing, and A-1 Pictures serving as the animation studio.[1][2]
