Pterodactyl Panel is an open-source game server management panel. It provides a web-based interface for administrators and users to deploy and manage game servers. Pterodactyl uses Docker containers to isolate individual game server instances and uses the Wings daemon to manage game servers on individual nodes.[1]
The panel is primarily written using PHP, React, and Go.[2] It is distributed as free and open-source software under the MIT License.[2]

Supported games
[edit]Pterodactyl is designed as a general-purpose game server management system rather than a panel exclusively for Minecraft. Its documentation lists support for games including Minecraft, Rust, Terraria, Team Fortress 2, Counter-Strike, Garry's Mod, and ARK: Survival Evolved.[1]
For Minecraft, Pterodactyl can be used to manage server software such as Spigot, Sponge, BungeeCord, and Waterfall.[1]
Minecraft is a sandbox video game developed and published by Mojang Studios. It supports multiplayer servers and has a large ecosystem of community-created server software and modifications.[4]
Open-source development
