Peter Sung (born August 6, 1973) is a South Korea–born American executive coach, psychologist, author, and former church planter and denominational leader.[1] He is the founder of Securebase, a coaching, consulting, and speaking organization. Sung works with leaders and organizations across the United States, specializing in leadership effectiveness, organizational health, and applied psychology.

[edit]Peter Sung was born in Seoul, South Korea, on August 6, 1973. He immigrated to the United States with his family on August 16, 1981, and was raised in New York City. He attended Stuyvesant High School in Manhattan.[citation needed]
Sung earned a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature, with a concentration in Shakespeare, from the University of Michigan. He later received a Master of Divinity from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Education in Performance and Organizational Psychology from the University of Western States.
