PRYPCO is a Dubai-based fintech company founded in 2022 by Emirati entrepreneur Amira Sajwani. It provides real estate investment and financing services in the United Arab Emirates, including mortgages, fractional real estate investing, real estate tokenization, gold investing, Golden Visas, wills and property management.[1][2]
PRYPCO's investment platforms include PRYPCO Blocks and PRYPCO Mint. PRYPCO Blocks is a fractional real estate investment platform regulated by the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA). PRYPCO Mint is licensed by the Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA) and was launched in partnership with the Dubai Land Department (DLD) for its real estate tokenization initiative.[3][4]
History
[edit]PRYPCO was founded in Dubai in 2022 by Amira Sajwani, who also serves as managing director of sales and development at DAMAC Properties.[5]
In October 2024, PRYPCO raised US$10 million in seed funding in a round led by Shorooq Partners, with participation from Apparel Group and other investors.[6]
In September 2025, PRYPCO raised a pre-Series A round led by US venture capital firm General Catalyst, marking the firm's first proptech investment in the Middle East. At the time, PRYPCO had facilitated close to AED 10 billion in mortgages and processed more than 3,000 Golden Visa applications.[7][1]
In January 2026, PRYPCO signed a memorandum of understanding with the Ministry of Justice of Georgia to work on a framework for real estate tokenization in the country.[8][9]
Products and services
[edit]PRYPCO provides services across real estate investing, home financing and property ownership in the UAE.[10]
PRYPCO Blocks
[edit]PRYPCO Blocks is a fractional real estate investment platform regulated by the Dubai Financial Services Authority. The platform allows users to invest in Dubai real estate from AED 500. Investors buy shares in a special-purpose vehicle that owns the property and earn rental income based on their share of ownership.[2][11]
PRYPCO Mint
[edit]PRYPCO Mint is a platform for real estate tokenization and gold investing. It was launched in May 2025 in partnership with the Dubai Land Department as part of Dubai's real estate tokenization initiative and is licensed by the Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority. Users can invest in tokenized Dubai properties from AED 2,000, with each token representing a share of an individual property registered with the DLD.[3]
In June 2026, PRYPCO Mint expanded into gold investing, allowing users to invest from AED 100. Gold investments on the platform use PAX Gold (PAXG).[12][13]
Other services
[edit]PRYPCO Mortgage helps homebuyers compare mortgage options from banks across the UAE.[14] PRYPCO Golden Visa assists eligible applicants with UAE Golden Visa applications.[1] PRYPCO One is a platform for real estate agents in the UAE, through which agents can access property listings and project data and submit mortgage and Golden Visa referrals.[10] PRYPCO also provides will registration and property management services.[10]
Dubai real estate tokenization initiative
[edit]In March 2025, the Dubai Land Department announced a pilot project for real estate tokenization in Dubai, developed in collaboration with the Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority, the Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates and the Dubai Future Foundation through the Real Estate Sandbox. On 25 May 2025, PRYPCO Mint was launched as the investment platform for the initiative.[3]
The first phase allowed UAE residents with an Emirates ID to invest in tokenized, ready properties from AED 2,000. Investor funds were held in client money accounts, and the DLD reviewed the pricing of properties before they were listed.[15] The tokenization infrastructure was provided by Ctrl Alt, with tokens issued on the XRP Ledger and Zand as the banking partner.[4]
The first property listed on PRYPCO Mint, an apartment in Business Bay, was fully funded within 24 hours.[16] Following the launch, the DLD issued what it described as the world's first Property Token Ownership Certificates to investors.[17][18] The DLD has projected that tokenized real estate could account for around 7 per cent of Dubai's real estate transactions, or approximately AED 60 billion, by 2033.[4]
In February 2026, the DLD announced the second phase of the initiative, introducing secondary-market resale of property tokens.[19] PRYPCO Mint then launched its Marketplace, allowing eligible investors to buy and sell property tokens through the app.[20][21]
