Militant Mary was an American comic strip published weekly by Associated Newspapers. It is believe to have begun on the 29th of September 1913[1], however this is dependent on the accuracy of archived newspapers, leaving the possibility that there was an earlier edition that had not been archived. Given that the comics were reprinted across different newspapers, it is unclear when original comics stopped being produced. The comics were signed by Steve Hyde for the majority of the time they were running, but were signed by Elizabeth Kirkman Fitzhugh from January 28, 1918.
