Liebenspiel is a 2026 Edinburgh Comedy Awards Panel Prize winning comedy production company run by comedians & producers Ellie BW and Benjamin Alborough.

Work

In 2025 Liebenspiel were nominated for the Malcolm Hardee for their work on the Bedlam Late programme at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. ^[1]

At the 2026 Leicester Comedy Festival Liebenspiel received a nomination Liberty Award for Spirit of the Festival for their work programming and producing work. ^[2]

At the 2026 Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Liebenspiel produced One Joke, an new event asking “how many comedians can tell one joke each, in an hour?". With the latter, they won the Edinburgh Comedy Awards Panel Prize alongside Jonathan Oldfield and Lorna Rose Treen. ^[3]
