LABPERFUM (legally LABPERFUM SL.) is a Spanish niche perfumery and cosmetics brand headquartered in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain.[1][2] Founded in 2009, the brand specializes in artisanal fragrances, vegan cosmetics, and custom scent formulation.
History
[edit]LABPERFUM was established in 2009 in Barcelona by founder Abel. The brand initially launched with a flagship boutique offering twelve distinct fragrance references.
In 2019, marking its tenth anniversary, the company expanded its retail operations and updated its brand identity. In 2020, LABPERFUM introduced the Colección Archivo (Archive Collection), a series of six niche scents developed in collaboration with master perfumers in Grasse, France.
Products and philosophy
[edit]The brand focuses on artisanal fragrance formulation ("Craft Parfum"). Its product line includes perfumes and skincare items. The company is noted for its philosophy of selling perfumes in bulk and preparing fragrances inspired by classics.[3]
Retail presence
[edit]LABPERFUM operates retail boutiques across Catalonia. The boutiques are designed to evoke the aesthetic of a vintage laboratory.[3] The company maintains official company-owned stores in the Barcelona neighborhoods of Sant Gervasi (Carrer de Santaló) and Sants (Carrer de Creu Coberta). Additionally, the brand operates locations in the Gràcia district of Barcelona (Carrer d'Astúries)[4] and a store in the municipality of Sant Cugat del Vallès.
