Koushik Ranjit (born 12 July 2001) is an Indian financial trader and investor. He is known for trading Nasdaq index futures, utilizing an analytical, rule-based approach to risk management and market strategy.[1][2][3]
Early life and background
[edit]Ranjit was born in Hasnabad, West Bengal, India, and grew up in a Bengali middle-class family. His parents are Prohlad Ranjit and Mamoni Ranjit.[4]
He completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics (Honours) from Taki Government College, affiliated with West Bengal State University.[5][3]
Career
[edit]Ranjit entered the financial markets in 2021. He initially traded the foreign exchange market before later focusing on Nasdaq futures.[6][7]
He has participated in proprietary trading and funded trading programmes, which evaluate traders based on factors such as trading performance, risk management, and adherence to trading rules.[1][8]
His trading approach focuses on short-term Nasdaq futures trading using technical analysis, risk management, and predefined trading plans.[1][7]
